Holy month of Ramadan is sensational in Beirut. This big imitation of Koran is installed on the sidewalk facing the Ayn Al Mreiseh Mosque. This guy selling lottery tickets approached slowly and touched the model very gently as if he was holding the original holy book. He fondled the big page and stayed there for a few minutes.He read what is written on it and I believe that he prayed from inside as well.Whatever he wished from God I don’t know. But the respect he showed to the model was amazing!
