يوم جديد – جمعية VAMOS TODOS مع رئيسها مارك عون Vamos Todos is an ecotourism NGO that promotes and encourages the love of nature amongst its members, thus seeing life through a new perspective. We first talked during this interview about the massive fires spreading in Akkar. We showed photos of our latest hike in Qobayat and Andket, where the fire is sadly spreading actually. We hope it will soon be soon surrounded and extenguished. We presented our upcoming events. We are going this weekend to Karm El Mohr on Saturday where will hike surrounded by Cedar Trees. We will walk in Lassa Afqa on Sunday afternoon and watch the beautiful sunset from the region of Jbeil. Then, we talked about our project with Bahr Bala Plastic concerning Tyre Coast, where we finalized our work, by fixing recycle bins at the Tyre Coast. We put awareness panels at the public beach of Tyre, with Fabric Bags in order to encourage the limitation of plastic bags. We did a workshop there in order to spread awareness about the danger of plastic near the sea, among the local people with the help of the Tyre Coast Nature Reserve. The project of Tyre Coast is under the Lebanese civil society combating for a plastic-free Mediterranean sea, that was awarded in a call for proposals launched by “Bahr Bala Plastic” project, funded by the European Union Commission and implemented by the Lebanese Environment Forum and Lebanon Eco Movement.
