The logo of political party Amal movement on a wall in Beirut. Earlier that year in 2005, Rafic Hariri was bombed near the marina. Politics in Lebanon is complex. Lots of tension. In 2005 commando’s were everywhere in the entire city. Notice the gorgeous 70s Mercs. Those German quality machines survive wars. I ran the 3rd Beirut Marathon in 2005.
Above the logo the portraits of, I believe, Iranian Musa al-Sadr and Iranian Ayatollah Khomeini. Correct me if I’m wrong.
