I was determined to attend the Baalbek International Festival leaving the country. It would have been a real pity if I never attended this famous festival in the three summers I spent in Beirut. During these years, there were never any acts that appealed to me. For 2019, there was only one performance that worked schedule wise. Luckily, I was able to round up a group of colleagues/friends, and we made our way to Baalbek and watched "An Evening with Abdel Halim" .
