The Postcard
A postally unused Orient-Monuments Series carte postale that was published by M. Harriz of Baalbek.
On the divided back of the card is printed:
‘Require Palmyra Hotel,
the only first class hotel
facing the ruins of Baalbek.’
The front of the card informs us that the Great Arab Mosque dating back to the 7th. century was built using granite columns taken from Roman temples.
