I see both of these buildings every day on my way to and from work. I had never been inside either and jumped at the chance to enter the one usually off limits.
It really illustrates the juxtaposition that exists in this country of ruins (The Egg) next to the modern (the mosque was opened in 2008), the ancient (Roman ruins are next to a church next to this mosque and in front of the Martyr Square that if you squint you can just make out), and the constant construction.
