Notre-Dame du Liban is a significant pilgrimage site in Lebanon. Situated on one of the peaks of Mount-Lebanon range, it overlooks beautiful Jounieh Bay, a summer escape for Beirutis. People climb up to the base of the 8,5 m. high and 15-ton bronze statue and fulfill their religious duties. Most of them lean their foreheads and pray for minutes. It was the golden hour when glaring light produced the spiritual effect with warm colors. Way ahead lies Beirut City.
